We introduced Norwegian pancakes in Voi. Combined with local fresh fruits they are a big hit.
In 2012 we brought over 200 reading glasses from Norway to Kenya. We plan to collect even more. There is a great need for glasses.
The Town of Voi is the gateway to the largest national park in Kenya; Tsavo. The leopard is not often seen, but this one was too lazy to move away from us.
Lots of elephants can be seen in the Tsavo national park.
We gave the first embroidery machine to the Matokeo Womens group in 2013. Now, local authorities and the World Bank has given 10 more.
The Masaai are wonderful people – and they look great too.
Tie and Dye is a technique where fabric is folded and tied, then dyed to give colour patterns. This is a specialty of the Matokeo Womens Group.
